My best read last year was John Eldredge's "Walking with God" - a one-year journal of one person's faith-walk / prayer life. A close second was Brené Brown's "I thought it was just me" - a treatise on identifying and dealing with shame.
ReplyDeleteThis year, I'd like to read Paul Ellis' "The Gospel in Ten Words" - heard so much about it that I want to see for myself. And perhaps a book by Wayne Jacobsen (possibly "Finding Church") and a re-read of Eldredge's "Waking the Dead" - a long-time favorite.
I haven't heard about The Gospel in Ten Words. But I do love Waking the Dead! It might be time for a re-read of that as well. :)
